How
do I indicate flow direction?

Arrows are either printed directly
onto the marker or can be provided in
. An adhesive wrap-around design helps reduce flagging. The marker
wraps around the pipe and attaches to itself.
There are dozens of possible arrow
designs, and there is no "best" design. Some arrows, though,
seem to imply a greater sense of movement than others. For this
reason, we prefer arrows that have the wings cut off parallel to
the direction of the flow. To some, the traditional "
" arrow design is too static.
Most pipe marker installations of Adhesive
pipe markers use a roll of arrow tape to indicate flow direction.
Snap-On pipe markers, in contrast,
print the arrow on the marker itself. Our innovative design can
be oriented so that the pipe marker is always right-reading and
the arrow can be oriented in the right direction. Competitor's pipe
markers often force you to orient the pipe marker so that the legend
is upside down just to get the arrow flow direction correct.
Finally, our Roll-Form pipe markers
are printed with the arrows. Each marker comes with a small
arrow label, separated by a perforation. To reverse the arrow direction,
just peel off the arrow label and turn it around.
Generally, the arrow is placed facing
out. Either one or two arrows can be added.
