Generally,
tower signs are attached to the cross arms, and ideally, they
should be attached in all four corners. Unfortunately, this
is impractical given how most towers are constructed. Three
points are far more common [1]. Tower signs should be attached
at a height that keeps them from vandals, but can still be seen
easily from the ground. Typically, most tower signs are attached
at the point at which the climbing bars start, which is approximately
ten to fifteen feet above grade. Try to angle the porcelain
signs down if possible. We offer brackets that can be used in
conjunction with signs. A "Hilti" gun, or metal strapping
to properly orient the sign with a minimal amount of onsite
engineering. Pre-curved signs can speed instalation on Tower
poles [2]. Birdhouse with locking digits can be used to number
towers [3].
