Do I need to bar-code the valve tag?
Bar-codes streamline identification.
The black and white bars that you see at the bottom of certain designs
represent a unique identification for that component. They provide
a simple, accurate and cost effective approach for identifying a
unique number by using a bar-code scanner. Its low susceptibility
to errors makes bar-codes ideal for color line-ups, instrument readings,
logs or daily maintenance runs. The cost of adding a bar-code cost
is minimal, but the benefits are potentially large.
