Welcome to Electromark's Tech Support Section.
Here you will find the most commonly asked questions regarding SmartSigns (and maybe a few
you didn't expect).
Our Technical Support Department is available to help you with any questions about
SmartSigns Software, but, before you contact us, please try these brief troubleshooting
steps:
- Consult your manual and the tutorial on your program.
- Check that the operating system installed on your compueter
is Windows version 3.1 or higher, Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or higher.
- Make sure that you have at least 8 MB of RAM (16 MB is
recommended) and at last 16 MB of free hard disk space for the minimum installation.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and stil
require help, please contact our Technical Support Department. Please be at the computer
with the program running and have the following information handy:
- Your version of SmartSigns Software program (for this
information is aviable by choosing About from the help menu when you are
in the program)
- The name and address of the registered user
- The capacity and manufacturer of the hard disk
- Graphics adapter and monitor type
- Computer and printer make and model
- List of any special peripherals installed
- Amount of RAM used by your system
- Hard disk space available
- Name of printer driver
- A brief description of your problem, including the exact
wording of any error message
- A list of steps required to replicate the problem
