| Informing customers
or contractors of requirements for proper placement of meter sockets
before the meter is installed helps eliminate conflict after the fact.
Some utilities require that contractors leave their name and address
on all installations to facilitate approvals. When installing multiple
or grouped meters, contractors may be required to label each meter
socket, it's respective main disconnect and the service location before
a utility will install and energize a meter. |
