1.
Choose size and design. Common sizes are 3” x 5-3/4”,
4” x 6” and 4” x 9-1/2”.
2. Select material. Choices are standard 10
mils thick polyester, hefty 20 mils thick vinyl or a self-laminating
polyester.
3. Choose a header and symbol (optional). Most
Lock-Out tags use a Danger header.
4. Write legend. Determine if you want printing
on the back of your tag. For hints on tag design, also see pages
76, 105 to 106.
5. Select an attachment method (ties, strings,
wire) and eyelet type (lock-out sized brass, plastic non-conductive
grommet, or none).
6. See your final tag. |
