Grade reflective is the most common choice within Electromark’s
reflective materials family. It comes in many colors, conforms to
most surfaces, resists removal, delivers 7-year plus life and costs
less than other “family” options. Typical acrylic adhesive
sets up fast and bonds permanently. Engineer Grade uses glass-bead
construction: embedded microscopic beads with metallized coating that
reflects light back to the source. Economical Engineer Grade’s
wide usage in reflective marking includes: general facility and safety
signs, voltage and pipe markers, hard-hat labels, floor tapes, demarcation
strips, traffic control markings and much more. Engineer Grade meets
US DOT specs for construction of Roads & Bridges on Fed Highway
Projects FP-85.718-1989 Type II Class 1 or 2 and GSA LS-300C Reflectivity
1, Class 1 or 2. 3M High Intensity
reflective enhances glass-bead technology to deliver reflectivity
ratings 3 times higher than Engineer Grade. Its thick, quick-setting,
twice-as-strong acrylic adhesive also adheres permanently to more
surfaces than EG (e.g., low surface-energy plastics). High Intensity
markers will perform for 10-years plus in typical applications such
as pedestals, poles and roadway-work gear. Meets US DOT specs for
